Frequently Asked Questions

What is TickX?

TickX is the easiest way to discover events, comparing over 75 ticket sellers across music, comedy, theatre, sport, cinema and attractions.

TickX is free to use, but how do you make money?

When you find the tickets you want and go to purchase them, we connect you to one of our ticket partners.

Once you have completed your purchase, our partner pays us a small fee for helping you find them. Don’t worry, we make sure that won’t affect how much you pay.

Prices shown on TickX will always reflect the prices from ticket sellers, with no added or hidden fees.

What happens if the event is cancelled or if I need to change my order?

If the event has been cancelled or you need to change something to do with your purchase, you will need to contact the ticket seller you purchased your ticket with.

What are the advantages of using TickX?

By using TickX, you’ll be able to see all ticket sellers in one place and easily find the cheapest prices. We make sure that there are no added or hidden fees, so the price you see is the price you pay.

TickX also offers one place to see all types of events. Whether you’re a fan of music, theatre, comedy, sport or cinema, track and follow your favourite things right here to never miss out again.

What is ‘resale’ and the difference between primary and secondary tickets?

Primary and secondary are terms that get thrown around often, but what do they mean?

The primary ticket market is where tickets are sold for the very first time at a price set by the event-organiser. There may still be small service fees added on when using ticket sellers (which TickX will always display).

The secondary ticket market – also known as resale – is when a ticket from the primary market is purchased and then re-sold again, sometimes for profit. The secondary seller will determine the price of the ticket, which is often adjusted according to demand.

How do I add an event to TickX?

You can update your contact preferences at any time from your profile page and choose which alerts and roundups you want to receive.

Find something strange?

What is the price match guarantee?

TickX compares over 100 different ticket sellers which means that we have more tickets available than anyone else.
We aim to always offer you the cheapest tickets on the market, but if you do find a lower price elsewhere for a primary ticket that you have purchased with TickX, we will ensure to match it. This includes discount codes and sale prices for up to seven days after you purchase your ticket.

How do I get a price match refund?

If you see the same event cheaper elsewhere, within 7 days of buying from TickX, we'll refund the difference.
Simply click on this link and follow the instructions:

I've found cheaper tickets elsewhere, can I get a refund?
